Today I rebuilt my website from the ground up using a static site generator called Hugo. I wanted something fast, simple, and fully under my control, and Hugo delivered exactly that. The whole process pushed me to rethink how I organize my work, present my art, and communicate with the people who visit my site.
One of the biggest benefits was speed. Pages load almost instantly, the structure feels clean, and everything is lightweight. It also gave me the freedom to shape the site exactly how I want without relying on heavy builders or complicated systems.
Rebuilding the site also gave me a chance to refine my portfolio, update my information, and create a better space for my tattoo work, digital art, and commissions. It feels good to have something that reflects where I am right now creatively.
There is still more to tweak and improve, but the foundation is solid. Today was about rebuilding, simplifying, and taking ownership of my space on the web, and I couldn’t be happier so far :3 !
